MANOLO SIERRA
Biography and CV
Manolo Sierra (Cádiz 1973) studied at the University of Fine Arts of Sevilla. He specialized in sculpture and completed his studies at the University of Carrara (Italy). He complemented his education with three years of study on the classic techniques of engraving. He acquired the Autumn Salon of Plasencia Prize, the Viprén Foundation painting award, and won the Young Award of the Sala Parés Gallery; among many others. Moreover, he’s part of the selected painters of the Vila Casas Award and the BMW Painting Prize. He has exposed in various countries such as Germany, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Guatemala, Colombia, United Arab Emirates and Japan.
Manolo Sierra resides in Catalunya, for over twenty years now, and actually lives in Albons, a village from the Catalan Empordà countryside. He has his studio in Sant Pere Pescador, within the same local area.
